BARLEY WINE

Barley WineThis remarkably strong ale is not for the faint of heart! Originally brewed to provide 'warmth' in the cold British winters, it has a noticeably high alcohol content.

A strong fruity aroma preceeds a rich malt flavour & considerable sweetness.

Best served in small measures, cool but not chilled.

TRADITIONAL BRITISH BITTER

BitterThis traditional British real ale has a good creamy head & golden amber colour.

Its rich malt taste is supported by good background bitterness and a fully rounded hoppy flavour.

It has a medium-full 'mouth feel' & is best served at traditional pub cellar temperature (cool but not chilled).

WEIZEN LAGER WHEAT BEER

WeizenWeizen bier - a smooth golden beer with a rich Bavarian-style character. It is produced by concentrated beer wort using only the finest wheat and barley malt from our own maltings.

A Crisp, Refreshing, distinctive beer, best served chilled with a squeeze of lemon or lime.

German Style LagerThis smooth, clean tasting, German style Lager has a refreshing, lightly hopped flavour which will satisfy even the most demanding beer enthusiast.

Crystal clear & light yellow-amber in colour, it has a clean, fresh feel on the tongue & is best served chilled.

YORKSHIRE BITTER

Yorkshire BitterA little richer & sweeter than other British Bitters, this satisfying amber ale from the North of England has a deep red/brown colour with a rich creamy head.

The malt flavour is supported by mild hop bitterness.

Yorkshire Bitter has a full 'mouth feel' & is best served cool but not chilled.

A full texture supports rich hoppy notes & slightly nutty overtones.

It is best serverd at traditional pub cellar temperatures (cool but not chilled)

IRISH STOUT

Irish StoutA genuine stout, combining the full bodied smoky character of roasted barley with the tang of up-front hop flavour as favoured in Ireland.

This all natural brew will satisfy ardent stout addicts.

Set a few bottles aside for extra maturing to fully unleash the rich bitter/sweet taste with liquorice notes.

Best served lightly chilled.

LONDON PORTER RICH DARK ALE

London PorterLondon Porter was named after the strong men who unloaded cargo from the ships berthed at the many wharves of the Thames.

Porter had a uniquely rich, satisfying flavour which quenched the thirst of workers after long shifts.

The distinctive light hop character, full malt flavour and rich colour is achieved by using only the finest roasted malts.

MildA dark, sweet ale enormously popular in the Midlands of Britain. This dark, rich ale has a distinctive mixture of sweet and fruity flavours with a strong nose and malt character.
